Reviewer profile guidelines
Why should regular participants of the conference agree to become reviewers and what are the benefits?
Every scientist would like to have their work undergo a scientific review in a timely fashion. By agreeing to become a reviewer, you can contribute to science, gain valuable experience and have influence on the conference's academic community. We offer a special discount on the conference fee for performing reviews of at least two articles. You can receive a certificate for being a reviewer. Your name can be visible on the reviewer list in the proceedings and on the website if you check this option in the survey at the conference system.
Who can be a reviewer?
A person with at least a doctoral degree or with documented extensive scientific achievements in the applied thematic area. To propose your candidacy as a reviewer, complete the form in the 'reviewer profile' by selecting an area of interest. Optionally you can also add a brief bio.
Who cannot be a reviewer?
Young scientists, early-stage researchers, PhD students without scientific achievements cannot be reviewers.
How to get the reviewer discount?
Prepare at least two scientific reviews of conference articles within 10 days from the review invitation. The discount is possible only for regular participants.
How to perform the reviews?
Based on your declared areas of interest, we will invite you to review at least two articles. If you think that the selected articles are outside of your area of expertise, you can reject the invitation to review. In this case we will invite you to review different articles. The assigned articles will appear in your Reviewer Panel, available after logging in the conference website. The reviews are performed by filling a form on the conference website.
Yes. Certificates will be granted for all reviewers.
Can I be a reviewer of the conference without attending it?
Yes, we appreciate any scientific contribution from your side. You can register in the system and be our reviewer as long as you have at least a doctoral degree or you have a proven expertise in a particular subject area.
Can I receive remuneration for performing the review?
No. Other than the discount, reviewers cannot receive any additional remuneration.
